Lise: Have you considered starting a dropship program for your business? If so, now that giftbasketdropshipping has gone dark since their fire, it would be the perfect time.

I do some very limited dropshipping, but I am not set up with all the bells and whistles and I don’t really want to do that. So I let folks use my photos if I am dropshipping for them, but I don’t have a file with all the photos for them to grab. I don’t have a real time inventory system that lets folks see what I have at any given moment. I am not set up to work with Shopify or Big Commerce or Word Press. Basically, I give folks a custom code for a 20% referral discount when placing orders on my website. If they want me to keep their labels and cards on hand I do that, otherwise I use mine, but the clients are always theirs. We build packages to order, so sometimes it takes us 48 hours to get something out the door – that doesn’t work for some people.

So if folks are interested in that very low tech system, I am happy to work with them. I am just not able to meet some of the systems that other dropshippers have set up.
